I want to use my own username for comments. but SA has assigned me a user number. EVery comment I made is USER 4229etc how can I change that to use a real username
Simply click on your picture at the top right, go to "Profile", and then click "Edit Profile". You can change your username there by clicking the pencil next to your name.
