I formerly had graphic at the top right of every SA page I viewed and with a click on that I could see notifications of direct messages to me and responses to articles where I am tracking comments.  That graphic no longer appears on the article pages or on the home page.  What method should I use to read comments on the selected articles of interest?

First of all, I see the graphic when I examine your account:

You are using IE 11 on Windows 10, which is not a recommended configuration for Windows 10, since Microsoft released the Edge browser to replace IE.   IE 11 is only there in case you have a problem with Edge for certain niche or business websites.

I  recommend that you use Microsoft Edge instead of IE, but if you move to Chrome, you will be surprised at how much faster and better it is compared to IE 11 and Edge.   Furthermore, Microsoft has announced that it will be replacing the guts of Edge with Chrome, so it is more proof that Chrome is the better browser.

Since so few of our users use IE 11, we only provide basic support for it and only fix issues affecting major usability of the site.

If you still want to continue to use IE 11, There is a workaround, you can use this page which shows you the articles you read and which ones have new comments since the last time you read the article.

This also appears on the home page under "Articles you read"

Hope this helps, good luck.

Original request for help was three weeks ago.  I have read the assurance that every post is read by the SA staff.  How about a follow up on how to cure my problem?
