4 notification buzz sound in a row, for every item. it's pretty annoying, and cannot be turned off

Every time I get a notification, my phone starts to buzz for a really long time (4 in a row) however, only 1 or 2 short buzz sound would be ideal. Can you please look into this, and solve the issue?
