Experiencing insane memory leaks and slow-downs on Firefox (54.0.1 32-bit) on multiple computers. Any ideas? I do have multiple tabs open, but this was never as bad as it is currently. Started about a week, week and a half ago.

Thank you.

Hi vicad,

We are working on resolving these issues. Hopefully it will be soon but it is likely to take a bit more time here. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.

Whatever you guys are doing, eventually gobbles up all my internet bandwidth.  If I'm streaming video in another browser tab, the video begins to stutter and stops.  What on earth are you guys going to be such a bandwidth hog?

Larry,

This has been a very hard issue to crack but we feel we finally had a breakthrough today. It will take us some time to deploy the solution we feel will fix these issues but at least we think we've finally isolated the root cause.

Best,

Jonathan

Larry is roasting! Lol

Jonathan, is it isolated to Firefox only or every other browser is the same?

Another 2 weeks gone by.  No improvement at all.

Do you simply not care?  I can't imagine that a reputable website would be OK with being so unusable.

Jonathan, looks like it's much, much better on my end.

I have  Firefox 59.0.2, and in the last 10 days or so have developed significant slowdowns and "not responding" messages of Firefox, Thunderbird, and other programs like Excel and Word after opening a couple links of Seeking Alpha from the daily e-mail I receive.  I'm having no other computer issues unless I have opened several links to articles from Seeking Alpha.  As a possible hint of where to look for an issue, today I noticed it was hung up trying to connect to px.moatads.com.

I'm a contributor but I can't read or publish my comments or update my blog because your site is not optimized for Firefox. Since Firefox is a very popular browser, I don't understand why you neglect Firefox compatibility checks on your links.

It is possible that you have an add-in in Firefox which is conflicting with our contributor tools.  Please disable your add-ins one at a time to see which one it is, let me know if you find it.   If that does not resolve the issue, please try another browser, such as chrome and let me know if you still experience the problem.   Thanks
