Registration issue

I have a SeekingAlpha account at an email address, and it works fine. But that email address has been compromised. (See https://haveibeenpwned.com/). I started to open an account under a different email, not realizing that I could change the email address on the existing account. However, I never receive a confirmation email at the new email address, even though I have whitelisted the seekingalpha.com domain, and I cannot change the old email address on the original account because it says that the new email address is taken.

So I am in limbo. I could be wrong, but I'm thinking this is a bug in your system, because I am permanently in limbo. Would it be possible to clear out the new account in progress so that I could simply reset the existing account?
