The "updated" user-interface is an illegible train wreck.
The designers and implementers of this massive step backward really need to wake up and focus. Users need bug fixes to existing behavioral fails, not retrograde window dressing that further destroys usability and aesthetic appeal.
Try talking to some actual users.
