Operability of SA blogs

Why can't a single subject email when clicked upon to open, open directly into the blog rather then have to click on the hyper link which generally wonders up/down the page until it finally stops - to then be clicked. Secondarily, why does the link wonder about the page - on several different laptops including a newer Dell with Windows 10 installed.
