Entering multiple stock lots of the same Symbol

I'm sure there must be a way to enter many lots of the same security, but I must be too ignorant to figure it out.

I click on "add lot" and it enters the info in a whole new line.  Surely there is a way to keep all lots of the same security within one line until expanded.   "Is it just me?"

No, not just you. I'm a recent new subscriber and am dismayed that, after entering my stock lots, the only view I have is one line per lot. No summary, no average cost, just a bunch of detail lines. No forest. just trees.

Would like a feature (button on each row or at top of table for entire portfolio) to expand or collapse a security with multiple lots.  Sometimes I want to see the forest (e.g. average cost across lots) and sometimes I want to see the individual trees (per-lot cost, change, ageing).  If you add a column for "Number of lots" then clicking on that # could expand the lot details rows.

Can someone at Seeking Alpha respond to this issue.  It appears to be a two year old problem with no updates.

This is immensely dissappointing.  How hard could it be to either allow upload of a csv file, or even just to have a page which allowed multiple rows to be typed in?  Even if you keep the same box layout, just not having to go back and forth clicking Add Lot each time would make a difference.  I am finding that the site tools are not up to standard for user interface.

Very Disappointed, thought seeking alpha was going to be my go to, was even going to pay for the Pro edition. Not now this is the most irritating, easy to fix thing that they seem not to want to fix. Ohh well on to the next one.

Under portfolios, I created a new view and can see the details I choose but the data shows each lot separately. There should be an option to view the details as individual lots or totals of lots (like in the summary view) and a total sum at the end row. An accordion menu approach would be great for portfolios.

This is quite silly indeed. Buying the same stock multiple times on different dates is something that majority of investors do. A Basic feature indeed to be able to input multiple buys on different dates and get the averages calculated. Development team hello~~ !   Is there anyway around this for now. Maybe just keep the original date and punch in the average buying price until now to at least get the total change of your investments on the stock ?
