Portfolio and notifications not working

Recently I've seen two anomalies with the Android app. First, my portfolio only shows up every third or fourth time I launch the app. Second, I repeatedly get notifications in the notification bar that are not available once I open the tab in the app. Since I can't remove them, they persist with every new notification and can only be deleted by clearing the cache and memory of the app.
