Lack of highlighted "new" comments in articles

On "Articles I've Read" the site used to HIGHLIGHT/mark new comments as they appeared in the "Comment" section below the story.  This no longer happens.  I can see that there ARE new comments from day to day but these new comments are no longer marked as "NEW"....makes it a real PITA to scroll through the Comment section and find the latest comments.  Any ideas??  This began when the site changed the look of the site a few weeks ago.  Thanks
