This problem started several months ago. For articles I have read, the new comments are no longer being marked with the red box. I have previously reported the problem, but nothing was done. I am wondering if I could close my account and open a new one

New comments not being marked in red.

New comments are no longer being marked with the red box.

This is the 3rd time I am commenting on this over the last 3 months.  I tried deleting my account and opening a new one and still have the problem.  Why is nothing being done to fix this very serious problem?

The first screen shows that I have 46 new comments for the Avi Gilbert article, but when I click on the link, I get the second screen which just shows 156 total comments.  And the new comments are not marked with a red box.
