Can't view comments anymore.

In the past, after a couple weeks, some articles went to subscription only, but if I had comments on the article, I could still view all the comments. Now it shows me I have new comments, but it says you can only view them if you are a subscriber. If the intention is to make this a pay only site, that's fine, and I will move on to another website, but why should I add content when the article originates, and then be blocked from responses later on? If this is the intent of SA, it makes no sense for non-subscribers to add any comments/content, as it only adds value to the site/article, and one can't even see the responses later on.

We put in some fixes for this, please try again.

Please post details if you have problems clicking through from the notification inbox, I am getting reports of sporadic problems, but have not been able to pin it down completely or reproduce.

Yup...I'm in the same boat here. Very shady stuff if this isn't a bug in the system.

Yeah this is bullshittt. Someone just tagged me who I'be been in a steady exchange of comments and I now can no longer view or reply to his comment in which I have a dozen comments in the section already . This is very frustrating and should be rectified immediately.

At this point, if SA doesn't want to allow non-premium members to be able to use the comment boards, just put a paywall around the entire site and move on. Really destroys any value for non-premium users.

So I see I'm we're not the only ones this is happening to.

For now, I am giving them the benefit of the doubt, and guessing it is a glitch. I spoke with someone else who isn't having the same issue, plus, I have stocks I have commented on that have like a dozen new comments I can't see, and most people aren't paying members. I sent them an email, and I suggest you guys do the same. If their intent is for this to be the new norm, I will just delete my account and move on.

How do you send them an email? Even that isn't immediately clear.

They seem to have made that difficult too. I sent it to support@seekingalpha.com. Not sure if that is still a good address, but it didn't get sent back, but also no reply.

i have been reporting this problem in different threads probably since November.  Its not all articles, but its becoming more and more.  Please put some effort into resolve this issue, because you never used to have it and now it happens all the time.

The articles I couldn't reach before are now accessible. Thanks.
