flashing ads

Hi,

The side bar ad on the article page is flashing too much and causing distraction. Is there anyway the flash animation can be slowed down? For instance the Verizon ad in side bar is too distracting and hard to read through the article. I understand the SeekingAlpha revenue model is mainly "Ad revenue." I fully support that however, if I am unable to read an article because it is too distracting and disturbing beats the purpose of reading when it can't be done. Please address this.
