Email links not opening articles in app on iPad

This seems to happen sporadically but too often:

  1. Receive email with link to Seeling Alpha content (gmail in Chrome, not gmail app)
  2. Click link, new Chrome window opens
  3. Then Seeking Alpha app opens; sometimes content displays other times left & right pane are blank
  4. Doesn’t matter if app is opened already or not
  5. iOS 11.3.1
