Cannot enter password in text box to login in Firefox browser

Latest Firefox 64.0 will let me enter my username, but not enter text into the password box.  I disabled my extensions/plugins but the problem persists.   

I am on Ubuntu 18.04, which is Linux. I have been using SeekingAlpha for years on this Ubuntu machine with Firefox, so for me this problem is new.

I can login via Chromium browser, which is what I am using to enter this bug report.
