abbreviations

I would like to suggest that a collection of "abbreviations" be created, collected, compiled and available for readers to access as we try to decipher what is being said in these articles and especially in the comments. Too often, there are so many comments that use so many abbreviations that are not identified and it is hard to get the most out of what is being discussed for those millions of us who are still in the learning curve.
