Hi,

They mean:

5 year dividend growth rate

when I try to calculate the 3 and 5 DGR, using a dividend growth calculator, it never agrees with Alpha’s calculation. How does Alpha calculate 3and 5 DGR. Thanks

We use CAGR (compound annual growth rate). https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/cagr.asp

Hi,

Can you please provide more details? It looks correct from what I see.

Pembina Pipeline- the dividend grew each year from $1.79 in 2015 to $2.24 in 2018. The 3year growth exceeds your reported 4.1 % I believe.

How do you get $1.79 in 2015? Looks like $1.5283

OK, I see the issue. I was looking at USD, you were using CAD. We do indeed seem to have some duplicate payments which are likely throwing off the growth rates. We will send those to our data provider ASAP.
