nasty memory leak - probably from an ad

I noticed that while reading Fear & Greed Trader's latest article (https://seekingalpha.com/article/4235761-s-and-p-500-weekly-update-re-energized-market-catches-many-surprise) the tab's memory was going up quite rapidly. Did some screen recordings to show it starting off from less than 200k to eventually over 800k in less than 20 minutes !!!

From past experience (I reported a couple of issues similar to this back in 2017) it is most likely an ad.

I've attached the first, second, and last of the videos I recorded during this time. Can upload the ones in-between if you want. memleak 1 shows it in steady state before focusing on the tab. memleak 2 shows memory starting to climb. memleak 6 shows it at over 800k, plus the workaround, which is to close it and restart from History.

Very annoying to have to close and restart it so often !!!!

Thanks. I know that finding the ad likely to be causing the problem can be difficult. Anyway, things were mostly going fine today for a while before the problem started to re-occur, so I took some screenshots.

Although it wasn't showing in the videos I posted yesterday, I'm rather suspicious of a weird ad that showed up on two different pages when I started getting the problem today. The first one was a Brian Gilmartin article. The other two are from Jeff Miller's Weighing the week ahead - and show the memory usage as it rises.

Thanks, Ian
