Contributors taking down comments of readers

I have found that when posting polite comments to a certain contributors articles that question the supposed stellar predictions of that contributor they can be removed by the contributor that apparently has the ability to edit their reader comments. Indeed maybe they could even  add false comments of their own. This is highly concerning and indeed misleading for potential investors who may lose their own money following bad advice. Why and how can Seeking Alpha allow this to happen?
