AdBlock Plus

I have used AdBlock Plus with Chrome for years, but just in the last 2-3 weeks I have been getting notices from SA that I need to unblock their site.  I have done that repetitively per your instructions, but continue to get the notices from SA when I enter your site.  Now what?

Hi,

Do you per chance also have a script blocker deployed to Chrome? This would also likely trigger our ad blockeing whitelist message,

I think that you have responded to the wrong person.

i have no idea what a "script blocker" is, so I can honestly say that I have taken no action to deploy a script blocker on Chrome.

Ok, fair enough. Are you available to do a screen share with one of our developers later this week? That's the best way for us to get to the bottom of the issues you're experiencing at this stage.

I have this same problem using Firefox. AdBlock Plus is disable on seekingalpa.com.  I used to be able to just close the pop up asking me to white wash "Seeking Alpha" which has already been done. Now the pop ups have removed the close buttons so you can't even do that, which makes the site unusable.

I am open to the option of doing a screen share (whatever that is) to resolve this issue as I often go on your site.  My name is Richard, my phone is (970) 532-0694, email is dickpersons@skybeam.com, and know that your developer is going to likely need to coach me through the "screen share" process as I have no idea as to how to do that.

You probably have Firefox's 'Tracking Protection' turned on. Can you please go into your preferences and see if this is the case? This feature disables a lot of basic functionality on our site.

Great - I'll reach out by email directly. Thanks!
