It keeps telling me to activate my email address

My boss gets seeking alpha alerts on his phone and via email. he tried logging in on desktop and it keeps telling him to activate his registration via email. he has no email in junk or any other folder to be able to do this. he changed his password, which seemed successful in getting him logged in, until he logged out and once he tried getting back in, it again told him to activate his registration. HELP
