Battery drain

The updates to SA over the last two months have ramped up the demands on my new iPhone battery dramatically. Why have you made the app so power intensive?  It uses more than five times as much power in 1.5 hours if screen time over 24 hours than any other app on my phone, even apps I use for more than 1.5 hours of screen time.
