App Is Too Intrusive

I've installed, then uninstalled the app for the third time. Once the app is installed I keep all kind of notices about one thing or another on my phone. I went to the settings section in the app, and tried to turn off all the notices by sliding the little orange dot to the left. Not a single one would move. THIS IS MY PHONE. I DECIDE WHAT INFORMATION I GET, AND WHEN I GET IT.
