NEW PORTFOLIO FORMAT

Regarding the new portfolio format, it updates every few seconds and changes the position of the portfolio on the screen. This is very inconvenient and makes it difficult to study what is going on.

Reported this issue a few days back, they said they would look into it.  Sadly no action yet.

The only workaround is to hold the slider bar with your cursor, to keep it from moving

There are several possible solutions. One is to allow the user to temporarily disable the updating. Another which is more sophisticated would be to allow changing the frequency of updating.

sssteve,

Updating is fine, just don't move the page.  Seems simple enough, as the page does not move, when updates are done in all the tabs, it just happens in a subset.

The jumping around does not happen in the summary tab, but in the holdings tab, why not make the holdings tab behave like the summary tab?

Thanks for that FHBECKER. Good idea, and now we know it can be done if Seeking Alpha wants to do it.

Now, is anybody at Seeking Alpha listening?

Hi all,

A fix is in the works to persist users' preference on every refresh/revisit. This will be rolled out soon, requesting your kind patience.

How much patience do we need?  Is there a projected time-frame when the fix will be ready?

This screen jumping gets more irritating with each passing day.
