What are Stock Warnings and how do I enable/disable them?


Our users are notified when stocks in their portfolios are at high risk of underperforming the market. 

The warning is surfaced on the Portfolios page as well as shown below the Quotes Page and it leads to an auto-generated article that contains additional information on why the warning was generated.

You can view these warnings at the bottom of the portfolio as shown below.

If you want to dismiss the warnings, you can do so by clicking on the "X" button. If you wish to see it later, then you can view it below the portfolio, under the "Warning" Tab, as shown below.

How to enable/disable Stock Warnings

You can disable/enable the Stock Warnings by following the below steps:

Step 1: Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen and select Manage Email & Alerts

Or click on the link https://seekingalpha.com/account/edit_email_settings.


Step 2: Click on "Alert Preferences," under which you will see the "General Settings."


Scroll down, and you will see "On-site Warnings," as shown below.

To Enable, click "On," and to Disable click "Off."
