What are SA Authors' Ratings and how do I use them?

You can find SA Authors rating on every symbol page under the "Ratings" tab

"Authors Breakdown" gives you a quick overview of how Seeking Alpha's contributors have rated the stock over the past 30-90 days.

We aggregate every author’s rating within the past 30-90 days and combine it to create the overall Authors Rating for every stock.

Further scrolling down the page you'll see "Rating History by Author" for the particular stock. 

Hovering over any dot on the chart will reveal the title of the article and the price change since the article was published.

This will give a collective thought about the stock before performing a deep dive analysis.
