Interesting problem, I can't reproduce either problem on IE 11 on my windows 10 computer, so there might be something wrong with your browser.  If you must use IE 11,  I suggest you clean it out, remove temporary internet files, cookies etc.  It might also make your browser run faster.   Good luck.
