Same for me, exactly!  So long as SeekingAlpha is a major spam producer, there is no way I could recommend them to a friend in good conscience.  I would feel responsible for their being annoyed.

I would take it up with your credit card company.  Tell them any charges from Seeking Alpha are not authorized.
