The notification bell is back, but (so far) navigation is a little more awkward than in the past.

I’m using an iPad Air2, software version 15.7.  Coincidently, that software was downloaded just a few days ago.

It’s not only on iPhones.  It’s been happening for quite sometime on my iPad as well.  I’m not using the app.  And it’s not only when I’m reading articles or commenting, but when I’m scrolling through the news, as well.  It seems to be related to ads loading.

When I try to untrack comments on a specific article, the setting immediately reverts back to track comments.  Like the original poster, I don’t have any interest in continually being notified about hundreds of comments.  I’m using an iPad.

It appears one has to subscribe to Premium now to get the full text version?

I’m getting the same thing.  The ads appear to be a Google link disguised as an article.

Running 13.1.1 with no issues now.  I access SA through my favorites, not the app.
