All I can add to this discussion is to point out it is dishonest to try to charge for articles that are intended to be free by the authors.  If I was an author, I'd be pretty upset and move my content to a different site as soon as I legally could.

You guys are nowhere close to Barron's or WSJ.  I mean, your authors actually use those sources as references.  Sheesh!
