Our video ads aren't supposed to behave like that. if you could please send along a screenshot of the offending unit we'll get the issue resolved.
I totally sympathize with your point of view. We haven't been able to put much development time or resources into our ad-free offerings to date. When we do pivot in this direction we will definitely be comining all of our current offerings into a single product.
Hi smart as paint,
Great question. Insider's Forum and all of our Marketplace services are subscription services offering access to all of the service's exclusive investing ideas, community chat, and any other content the service offers. Whether you choose to invest in any specific idea is entirely up to you. These are not mirroring services.
Hope that helps answer your question but feel free to reach out to the service directly via direct message if you have any additional questions.
As these are 2 different properties we consider the 2 ad-free products 2 different products. We understand this is somewhat counterintuitive and are considering merging these products into a single product in the future. Apologies for the time being.
Thanks for reporting this issue. If you could please send us a screenshot we'll be able to block the offending ad (which of course should have never been there in the first place).
I am checking with our tech team Vicad
This has been a very hard issue to crack but we feel we finally had a breakthrough today. It will take us some time to deploy the solution we feel will fix these issues but at least we think we've finally isolated the root cause.
We are working on resolving these issues. Hopefully it will be soon but it is likely to take a bit more time here. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.
So once you pause the video feed it should no longer require any data. Why do you believe that even after pausing Cheddar it is still taking up data
Hi richin 10,
First of all I want to make sure Cheddar isn't autoplaying with sound in Windows 10. Please confirm. And if it is, which browser are you on?
2nd, you can mouse over the cheddar window to see several controls including a pause button (see attached screenshot). This will freeze the video feed.
