And now you know why they are not listed on any list as a viable option for a financial app. You thinking I'm kidding? Go do a google search for top 10 financial apps. Seeking Alpha is not listed in any of them. This update is EXACTLY why. I also work in software services, and If my team did this, pushed it out with no beta, no survey, no testing, we'd all be fired and looking for another job.

Well.... get this..... I'm actively seeking new apps to replace SA on my phone and I have to LOL! Seeking Alpha is not in the top 10 of *ANY* list of apps for the phone, NOW we know why. Being totally consumed with their preimum users and ignoring the rest of the users is why SA days are numbered. I know I'm done and so are many othersd here. In addition, notice how they are not addressing ANY of the comments?

Seeking Alpha App is now trash. It appears to be designed by kids who love toys and gadgets. I hate this new UI so much so I am now looking for a new site for all my financial news and needs.

Delete the Seeking Alpha App and have a nice day. That seems what they are telling us.

How much did they pay you to write that? 

I absolutely hate the new GUI, so much so that I am now looking for a replacement app for my android.

I can't believe they are forcing me to use the Yahoo app. WTF were they thinking? This new app is borderline unusable.

Why ask for the old app, which was WAY better than this new piece of crap? SA knows what's best for you.

So I'm not the only one who hates this new version. But try as you may, complaint's fall on deaf ears here at SA. 

if you can suggest an alternative to SA please let me know. Kids must be running the site now
