I have a similar problem App crashes *sometimes* after posting a comment. I'd say about 1/3 of the time. I'm using iOS 10.3.3. I like to avoid upgrading OS version when possible because there are often bugs in updates that make things worse. However, if it's an OS issue, then I guess I'll have to update.
