I don’t know what you’re reading but I never made a point SA shouldn’t make money on their site..that’s not the point at all. Sorry you missed it. It’s the callous way they punished their loyal readers who tried the “no obligation premium service” but didn’t opt to buy..Suddenly there’s a pay wall..Go premium on SA’s advertised “free service” or go away..who likes to be treated that way?

We handpick articles from the world's top market blogs, money managers, financial experts and investment newsletters, publishing 280 unique article and news updates every day. Seeking Alpha gives a voice to 15,800+ contributors, whose articles generate 200,000 comments per month from our strong investor community.

Our site is the only free, online source for over 2,700 public companies' earnings transcripts, published monthly.

No it isn’t free..if you do our free trial for premium and don’t buy it..they will punish you

No that isn’t true..there’s no article pay wall notice anywhere..work for SA do you?

being compensated for content behind a pay wall wasn’t the point nor is that debatable..sorry you didn’t understand Without notice this only happens AFTER you say no thank you to the Premium..there’s nothing about a minimum number of free articles..if there was notice it would be different..this is punishment for not buying the premium which is more than I need..they about say cancel anytime..but we will punish you..

No problem I’m canceling and deleting the new misleading SA app.

down 42%! C'mon...

This is an SA issue that needs to be fixed
