Yes I am copying it from the address bar. I understand your reach might be limited here but the error seems to occur on other computers and other versions of excel and word. Moreover the error is exclusively tied to SA links. Other html links that I use are fine.

maybe I have to rephrase. I add html link to SA article to excel and word. Once I try to click on the link in excel or word it gives me the aforementioned error.
