stock charts wrong
When looking at a stock chart for a single stock like NLY, (https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/NLY) and you click on the 10 yr time frame, it looks like the current price is the high for the past 10 years. If you look at the chart only for 10 years it does not even look close to the same, the high for the past 10 years was indeed 5 to 10 years ago. I have noticed this on many stocks. The small stock charts on websites like etrade are much more accurate. I feel like I can not even come close to relying on the basic stock information on seeking alpha when it comes to charts.
An adjusted chart is very confusing and does not make sense to me at all, in my 30+ years of investing this is the first time I have ever come across this. Maybe a Notation about the chart being adjusted would help, but its a lot more inconvenient to have to go somewhere else to get a true representation of a stock price history.
