I was just on the Seeking Alpha web site when my computer was attacked with phishing malware that locked my computer, MacBookPro ... And started to download files and refused to close out Chrome. I want you guys to know that your web site is not safe for use

Dear SpaceGhostOne, Thank you for taking the time to report a potential security issue. We take security very seriously. We have launched an internal investigation to ensure that Seeking Alpha was not the source of any phishing malware. Please note that we do not share results of internal investigations.

The Seeking Alpha team.

As long as you guys are aware and taking action, that is all I care about.

Good Day & Good Trading.

I've been getting numerous  phishing malware attacks using Seeking Alpah lately such as Windows detecting viruses or in need of updates. Looks like an add script taking over. Quite concerning.

Laval, can you give us more detail on your issue? What Browser and version is this on? Is there a specific page this is happening on? Can you send a screenshot? Thank you.
