Can't access existing account

I unintentionally created a new account from a different email address.  Now emails that come to both that and the address associated with my existing account (username: Bridge Bum) by default go to the new account.  Is there a way to delete the new account (email: jonwilliams1777@gmail.com; no username or password established) so I can access the Bridge Bum account?
