The sign-in box is greyed out and cannot be clicked. Here's what it looks like.

I tried removing all seekingalpha.com cookies and closing all seekingalpha tabs. It doesn't help. Sign-in works fine on Chrome, though.

There's another thread on this topic where it was suggested to use the Seeking Alpha PRO | Seeking Alpha login which worked for me. The difference is that login doesn't have the Facebook button. My suspicion is that loading that button tries to connect to Facebook and that connection is failing.

Hopefully SA doesn't try to "fix" the Pro login by adding Facebook to it. Why SA would condition logging into their site on communicating with Facebook is beyond me to fathom. It's completely unnecessary for those that have an SA account and password.

I have the same issue & greyed-out screen in Win 10 on both Firefox & Chrome but attempts to log-on with Google defaults to fruitless further "Authentication Required' plus sending duplicate SE emails to my Android phone.

Finally able to log-in SA via Chrome. Not convenient but it functions.

Also, don't waste your time calling SA Support at 1-347-509-6837 (New Rochelle, NY 10801) not India, no one will answer and the voice mail mailbox is full.

this work-around also worked for me.

the fact that SA hasn't fixed this bug in days is very embarrassing!

imagine trusting them with your broker log-in information to track your portfolio...

Agreed. When I joined SA & saw their suggested link to my brokerage account I fired-off an affirmative refusal and ran like hell. What a risky mistake that would have been.

I wanna add that one thing you can try is clearing your cache and cookies in Edge. Sometimes that can help with website login issues. You can do this by going to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data. Make sure to select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files."

If that doesn't work, you might try resetting Edge to its default settings. This will remove any extensions or settings you've added, so make sure to backup any important data first.
