Cannot down load financial statements
How can I download financial statements of a company?
I used to download easily, however it does not work currently

Hi,
Our internal team has confirmed that downloading financial statements in the Excel option is no longer available on the Financials page.
Unfortunately, the change is permanent with regards to the download option being removed. But we are getting a couple of other feedback on this change and I have also shared the feedback from some of the users, along with yours, with our engineering/product team so that they are aware of it. They will be consolidating the feedback and will be working on this feedback for future consideration.
I do not have the ETA for if/when this change will be taking effect but I can assure you that you will be notified once this option becomes available.

I just posted my disappointment with this to the tech team. I used the download financial statements feature practically every week, and relied on it. I really, really need that feature back. It will badly hamper my security analysis if I can't have that, and will significantly limit Seeking Alpha's utility to me without it. I have built an entire analysis spreadsheet around being able to download financial statements in Excel. Will you please pass along that I really need that feature.
@Shubham... this is not a really complete answer in my opinion... how about offering workarounds (beside the crappy copy and paste)? Maybe SA knows of other services that would allow us to easily download financial statement.
In addition, here are other valid questions:
1. Why has SA disabled voting on this removed feature request?
2. SA should communicate that information with its customers, instead of just taking it off silently and offering nothing as an alternative! I am sure many paying customers will be just as shocked as I am.
3. Similar to mwatson1 above, being able to download financial statements is an important feature for me. Fortunately for you this is not enough to make me walk away but it is very frustrating.

I want to jump in here to supplement my view on this issue.
I registered a premium account exactly due your service of downloading financial data in excel-format, which I absolutely rely on for my analysis.
I recognized this feature was terminated by you, altough printout is still available.
I absolutely do not understand why you terminated download and still offer printout?! You do not spare any effort,
because you have to have clean financial data for printout anyway. (I see you spare effort because you reduced 10K from 10yrs to 4 yrs I have seen.)
If that feature is not coming back, of course I will not extend my premium abo and I am also thinking of demanding money back because you stopped providing one of your main features. Sadly on top of that no information or alternative.

I am very dissatisfied with SA removing the ability to download financial data to Excel, which substantially diminishes SA's value to me, and others apparently.
Explanations provided so far are unsatisfactory. There seems to be no good reason for making that change.
I think SA owes me a partial refund of this year's subscription fee. I paid for a year, then SA pulled that valuable service, substantially diminishing the service level that I purchased.
Also, SA did so without providing notice to paying subscribers, communicating disregard for customers' interests. Is that what you want to communicate?
I am also the one who are dissatisfied with missing financials downloading feature. I can't believe SA has removed this function without notice.
It is a VERY important PRO feature. If it is not recovered soon, I will cancel the subscription.

We are sorry for this but the financials are unavailable for download due to our vendor agreement. As much as we tried to retain it, the vendor agreement did not all allow us to do so.
