Safari banner shows ‘get app’ when people already have it

For ios when i click on links in the emails, they often take me to the safari page instead of the app.

Also, while im in the safari page at the top there is a banner that shows the app and says get.  Instead it should show open and let me open that article in the app i already have.

When someone has the app the banner should say open instead of get. It just takes me to the app download page
