blocked by javascript grey screen

Every so often my screen goes grey and am told to enable java.

I have java enabled and add blocker turned off. And this still happens. I called and was told to switch from firefox to Edge.

I did that and it still happens.

I don't want to use Chrome--I really really do not like Google.

This did not used to happen.

I have always paid my subscription.

Can you fix this?
