stop the political rants on here

Can the mods do something about political rants in the comments section (regardless of what "side" they are on)?  At least add "politics" or something similar in the report abuse drop down menu.  The quality of the comments section on SA is rapidly declining because of political ranting on here for what is supposed to be a website about investing.
