Can you please tell me how to chart total return on a stock or fund. I use to be able to do this and now I no long see that option.

The option for "total return" seems to be missing. Used it recently. Could this be restored please?

What is the status of restoring this useful feature?

I can’t find it either.  It seems like a needed basic function.

You'll need access to historical price data for the stock or fund. This data is typically available through financial websites, brokerage platforms, or financial data providers like Yahoo Finance, Google  Finance, or Bloomberg.

Total return includes both capital appreciation (or depreciation) and any dividends or distributions received. The formula for total return is:

Total Return=(Current Value+Dividends or DistributionsInitial Investment)−1Total Return=(Initial InvestmentCurrent Value+Dividends or Distributions)−1

You'll need the initial investment value, current value, and any dividends or distributions received during the period you're interested in charting.
