prove it to yourself checking equities prices on CNBC. then go to your same portfolio and your delay can be 15 min’s. Also CNBC updates separately, example DOW or NASDAQ — you update,( later also) as a group Dow, S&P 500 and Nasdaq.
Hi,
The vast majority of our equities update in real time. The only exception are stocks which do not trade through the IEX exchange. These are usually smaller companies which tend to be thinly traded. We mark these as 15-min delayed on the respective symbol page.
Indices are real time and are updated every few seconds.

Hi Robert,
As you can see in the image above, the Afterhours tab updates in realtime for Pre and Post Market Sessions and prices in general also update in realtime. It's probably that we're displaying prices in realtime, but CNBC displays it in intervals of few seconds and in the current highly volatile environment this delay on CNBC's part may be more apparent.
I hope this helps, you can also reach out to me on kushalm@seekingalpha.com for any further assistance.

Hi,
Can you give some examples of times where you saw delays?
Thanks,
