Entering multiple stock lots of the same Symbol

I'm sure there must be a way to enter many lots of the same security, but I must be too ignorant to figure it out.

I click on "add lot" and it enters the info in a whole new line.  Surely there is a way to keep all lots of the same security within one line until expanded.   "Is it just me?"

Very basic feature and after years of users complaining you have not been able to add summary line per stock?

New subscriber with $5 first month fee but won't be paying for annual if basics features like seeing your total position on the tickers is not available...

I am in my 7 day trial and am having the same problem.  If this is still a problem, it's probably going to be a showstopper for me because this is really basic.  Can anyone tell me if this has been rectified or not?  I can't find anywhere to group lots into one line on a customer view and I've looked for hours.  Wow, if this is still a problem that says a lot, like WTF.  If I just can't find how to do it, I would be happy, but it should be more intuitive if the functionality does exist.  Anyone?

This is quite silly indeed. Buying the same stock multiple times on different dates is something that majority of investors do. A Basic feature indeed to be able to input multiple buys on different dates and get the averages calculated. Development team hello~~ !   Is there anyway around this for now. Maybe just keep the original date and punch in the average buying price until now to at least get the total change of your investments on the stock ?

Under portfolios, I created a new view and can see the details I choose but the data shows each lot separately. There should be an option to view the details as individual lots or totals of lots (like in the summary view) and a total sum at the end row. An accordion menu approach would be great for portfolios.

Very Disappointed, thought seeking alpha was going to be my go to, was even going to pay for the Pro edition. Not now this is the most irritating, easy to fix thing that they seem not to want to fix. Ohh well on to the next one.

This is immensely dissappointing.  How hard could it be to either allow upload of a csv file, or even just to have a page which allowed multiple rows to be typed in?  Even if you keep the same box layout, just not having to go back and forth clicking Add Lot each time would make a difference.  I am finding that the site tools are not up to standard for user interface.

Can someone at Seeking Alpha respond to this issue.  It appears to be a two year old problem with no updates.
