i linked my brokers to my portfolio. It says that the portfolios will update after 24 hours. After some trades, I've waited a week and they still haven't updated. I have to unlink and link the brokers again.

My linked portfolio is not updating my holdings. Usually a person would hit a synch button to update the file. I can't find a synch button so I deleted the portfolio and re linked it. BUT that is not good. Is there a way to Synch my holdings?

I'm extremely proud to have been involved in the publishing of these two lovely scores! Personally speaking, I've been using works from these collections with my older students, and they are huge hits! Fancy titles, great tunes, tender stories all bundled up in two volumes. Volume 1 Dreams, Themes and Love Songs as the subtitle obviously states is filled with 12 tender solo piano works. Volume 2 Jazz, Blues and Latin Grooves on the other hand is more contemporary in a sense, going into more vivid rhythms and styles, as well as a few more aggressive ideas, in a total of 14 works. And all the works have fingerings by lovely Willie Chen, who's helped us more than once in the past! ^_^

One happy customer wrote to me about a week ago, and I'd like to share her message:

Ex-dividend describes a stock that is trading without the value of the next dividend payment. The ex-dividend date or "ex-date" is the day the stock starts trading without the value of its next dividend payment.

Typically, the ex-dividend date for a stock is one business day before the record date, meaning that an investor who buys the stock on its ex-dividend date or later will not be eligible to receive the declared dividend. Rather, the dividend payment is made to whoever owned the stock the day before the ex-dividend date.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Ex-dividend is when a company's dividend allocations have been specified.
  • The ex-dividend date of a stock is the day on which the stock begins trading without the subsequent dividend value.
  • Investors who purchased the stock before the ex-dividend date are entitled to the next dividend payment while those who purchased the stock on the ex-dividend date, or after, are not.
  • The ex-dividend date occurs before the record date because a stock trade is settled "T+1" meaning that the record of that transaction isn't settled for one business day.

Why do I need an account to sign in to Office? Why do I need an account to sign in to Office? Office is associated with your account so that you can be verified as an Office license holder. Signing in with your account allows you to: Install and activate Office A Microsoft account or work or school account is required to install and activate Microsoft 365 and Office versions 2013 or later. Connecting to Other Microsoft Services Once your account is associated with an Office product, and depending on which version of Office you have, your account will also connect to various Microsoft products and services such as Office Online or OneDrive. Reinstall Office Sign in to your account portal and reinstall Office without a product key or installation disc. Save and share files Create, edit, and share files you save to an Office cloud service like OneDrive Use Office across multiple devices If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription, you can also install and use Office on more than one device. What is a Microsoft account and a work or school account and how do I get it? What is a Microsoft account? Your Microsoft account is the email address and password that you use with Outlook.com, Hotmail, Office, OneDrive, Skype, Xbox, and Windows. When you create a Microsoft account, you can use any email address as your username, including addresses from Outlook.com or Yahoo! or Gmail. What is a work or educational institution account? If your business or school uses Microsoft 365, someone such as a global Microsoft 365 Administrator may assign you a custom username and password. This is the account you use to access your work or school email and your organization's web resources. Work or school accounts are usually associated with Microsoft 365 for business products and are managed by the same Microsoft 365 administrator who is tasked with assigning user accounts and Office licenses to people in their organization. Microsoft accounts A Microsoft account is a free account that you use to access many Microsoft devices and services, such as the web-based email service Outlook.com (also known as hotmail.com, msn.com, and live.com), the online Office apps, Skype, OneDrive, or Xbox Live, Bing, Windows, or Microsoft Store. If you already use any of these services, you will already have a Microsoft account. The Microsoft account was called a Windows Live ID. When you create a Microsoft account, you can use any email address as your username, including addresses from Outlook.com or Yahoo! or Gmail. If you already use an email address and password to sign in to Microsoft devices and services like the ones listed above, you already have a Microsoft account. One of the benefits of having a Microsoft account is that you have one password to sign in to all of your Microsoft services. These accounts are often associated with Office products for home use. For more information about Microsoft accounts and how to manage them. See Microsoft account help. Work or school accounts If your work or school uses Microsoft 365, someone such as your global administrator may assign you a custom username and password. You must sign in with your work or school account to access your email and web resources at your organization. Work or school accounts are associated with Microsoft 365 for business products and are managed by the same administrator who assigns user accounts and Office licenses to people in their organization. Administrators looking for help with managing user accounts should see Add users individually or simultaneously to Office 365. How do I associate my account with Office? Linking your Microsoft account or work or school account with Office is how Microsoft verifies that you have a valid Office license. How you associate your account and Office products depends on your Office product and how you got it. This association is only necessary for Microsoft 365 subscriptions and Office 2016 and Office 2013 products without a subscription (see Do I need an account for Office 2010 or Office 2007?) Select the option that best fits how you get Office.
