"You've reached your free article limit."

Logged-in to my account (been a member since 2016) and read a couple of articles, made a couple of comments.
Tried to access another article, and received a pop-up window stating that, "You've reached your free article limit."
Logged-out and back in, and immediately received the same pop-up window/message.
Logged-out again, cleared my History and cache, restarted my computer, clicked on the email to be able to review the S.A. article that I was interested in, and logged back into my account with S.A.
Immediately received the same BS pop-up message again.
Niiiiice!

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out!

In order to continue providing our users with outstanding financial analysis and news, we changed our Paywall policy in January 2021.

You can read more about this change here: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4396836-important-update-for-seeking-alpha-users

The good news is that you can still access any article on any stock, even without a paid subscription, though there is a monthly limit to how much you can read.

We do notify the member of when they are close to reaching their limit and when they have reached their limit with the following banners:

If you want to keep reading past the limit, you can just go ahead and start your free two-week trial of Seeking Alpha Premium - no commitment required.

Premium, apart from providing you unlimited access to analysis articles also provides you with many other powerful tools that can help you with your investing. You can get an overview of the service here.

Thank you and please feel free to reach out if you need any more help!

I agree. I paid the annual subscription for SA, but still get "You have reached your free article limit, every time I try to read an article. So what's the subscription payment for, exactly ? If you still have article limit of like 3 per month, that's pretty poor value. If I'm not supposed to still have an article limit, then the subscription money has been taken without giving me access. There's also zero way to contact anyone about this, so looks like either a) theres a bug that still treats me like a trial user or b) I've been conned and wasted my money. Either way, pretty shabby setup for users.

Iain...I've never given a one dime to this useless, incompetent site! There's free stock market information everywhere so why pay these clowns anything?

Thanks, for your comment, yeah. It's certainly been really disappointing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but the site has taken my money but is not providing the access, so there surely must be a bug, (?) but I've got no way to solve that, as there is literally no way to contact any support. All I can see is reports from many other users who experienced the same or similar thing. Bizarre that SA doesn't even try to address it properly or reply to the comments and requests for help from users.

I am a paid premium annual subscriber and still getting same message. for last 2 weeks. And when I am trying to subscribe again for premium(just to test) it is saying that I am already a Premium Member.

WTH is going on ?????

Why I paid for last 2 weeks then?

Well, first, I never received ANY "running out" warning. Second, WHY is it that I can sign out and THEN I'm able to read ANYTHING?

I'm a bit disappointed. I was excited about the newsletters to receive, but my daily limit is 2 articles. So after opening 1 article from the newsletter, going to the next and opening the first again, I'm getting a paywall.

Having subscribed to 4 different newsletters / sections makes that useless. So I unsubscribed from everything again now.

Is this an error or is the reading limit really 2 articles per day?

Couldn't you change it so that we can read beside those 2 per day all articles from the mailings?

Otherwise any subscription is useless as a free member. And it makes me more angry than wanting to become a subscriber tbh...

All I am trying to do is look at the newest comments following articles that I have already read.

I hit comments, but they block me with the "article limit" anyways. Until a week or so ago, I was able to get around the block by clicking comments and scrolling down. One of those articles is tow years old.

If I can only check comments or articles 3 times per month, this website is pretty much useless to me now.
