So long! This is my 2nd account. I used to read lots of articles/comments and post my own in the areas I was expert in. No more. Great community building!
I registered yesterday and read one article on SA. Today I started to read another article and received a notification that I reached my limit. Does it mean that the free limit is one article or is it a temporary malfunction in SA system?

Same thing happened to me. One article a year?
I heard authors got compensated for follows and comments. Going to be a lot fewer of those going forward.

Unfortunately, we do not have any static number to give you as it is dynamic as per your usage.
We do notify the member of when they are close to reaching their limit and when they have reached their limit with the following banners:

I liked reading the articles until somehow arriving at my free article limit. I have no idea what the limit is, and where it's explained in advance when subscribing. I won't be held hostage paying a premium fee. It's not worth it.

Dramatic much? Nobody is holding you hostage. Either pay and get to read or don’t pay and don’t read.
yeah, I used to get at least 3 articles and now only one. I don’t even know when it resets
