When did the articles become “limited” ?
I have been with SA for 4 years..suddenly it’s limited because I didn’t subscribe to premium?
Really?

the same happens to me. I created a new account. Even though I didn’t read any single article it says “I’ve reached free article limit”. How come??

I don’t see what the issue is.  They are now choosing to be paid for their work.  It is the same as you wanting to be paid by your employer.

being compensated for content behind a pay wall wasn’t the point nor is that debatable..sorry you didn’t understand Without notice this only happens AFTER you say no thank you to the Premium..there’s nothing about a minimum number of free articles..if there was notice it would be different..this is punishment for not buying the premium which is more than I need..they about say cancel anytime..but we will punish you..

No problem I’m canceling and deleting the new misleading SA app.

They provided a notice for over a year.

I am ok with them limiting older articles, even if they limit them after 1-2 days, but their advertisers money should be enough to cover their articles being accessible for free the first day or two.  I’ve only found a handful of credible authors anyway.  If they don’t change this, then I’m only going to truly miss one or two authors.  It’s too bad.

I received my notice.  But let’s say you are right and you received no notice.  So what?  It is their site, their rules and they do not have to provide any notice. They have every right to be compensated for their work.  Those that are not okay with paying don’t have to stay.

Same thing happened to me, been on for over 4 years. Basically even the  news headline I can't read, which is free all over the internet. Don't want a subscription because half the analysis presented are garbage,  basically personal blog content. Also, I never sign up to a company that can not be reached.

Alternatives, your brokerage account service  Motley Fool, Yahoo Finance MSN etc...what I liked was monitoring portfolio, on occasion the odd article and convience of News press release...dime a dozen, over priced subscription service. Worth it if free. With this article limit  I will guarantee the number of views and user engagement will decrease greatly. Good job.
